Private Residence - Concord, New Hampshire
We were contacted by this family as they were becoming frightened of events taking place in their apartment. They were particularly concerned for their son, who was no longer sleeping through the night. They reported to us that they were seeing shadows, hearing voices and had the feeling of being watched. Three separate people reported seeing the apparition of a woman in a child's bedroom as well as activity centered around the closet in the same room. They reported a cabinet door in the kitchen has opened on its own and a crucifix on the living room wall which has moved on its own.
This was a difficult investigation. We found when reviewing the audio that we had picked up a significant amount of interference from surrounding apartments. Because of this we had to discard all of our audio evidence. We placed two video cameras in the child's bedroom, one camera fixed on the cabinet and one on the crucifix. We also taped a sign to the cabinet requesting that be opened. We also conducted multiple photo sessions utilizing both standard and infrared photography. Despite our best efforts we were unable to capture evidence. We do feel we were able to offer alternative explanations for some of the claims. We witnessed many shadows that night and were able to determine they were caused both by cars on the street and by cars pulling into the apartment complex. The sounds coming from the other apartments such as conversations or the television could be mistaken for voices. We were unable to offer an explanation for the cabinet door or the crucifix.
